This work was a study of the 2-D development of a “machine language” utilising Kitbashing techniques and their transition into 3-D assemblages using advanced voxel modelling and polygon processing techniques.
Digital modelling usually assumes an attitude of building a new world from scratch. Instead in this work, I thought differently about the existing world and reformated existing objects into new relationships. The peculiarity of formal assumptions in voxel modelling, where contour and figure takes a backseat to mass and resolution were observed.
